Award

IAG Early Career Research Award:

The award being sponsored at the Godschmidt 2010 includes a certificate, 18 months membership in the International Association of Geoanalysts and US$700. Judging is based on excellence in reporting geochemical results related to the core activities of the IAG:

   1. Developing or validating a new analytical techniques,
   2. Characterization of a new reference material, or
   3. Improvements in the domains of sampling and data analysis.

The eligibility for conference delegates needs to be specified:

   1. Currently working on an academic degree or having completed most recent degree after June 2005
   2. First Author on a Goldschmidt abstract (talk or poster) presenting what is largely their own research
   3. Will be in Knoxville to present their results personally.
